Mother's Day is just around the corner, May 8th if you didn't know that. Have you thought at all about what you are going to give the special women in your life? I sure have! I plan on giving my Grandmother a set of unique coffee mugs found here. I'm pretty sure she will love sipping her morning coffee out of these beautiful healing mugs. I have teamed up with Uncommon Goods and have put together a few gift ideas for you.
If you have never heard of Uncommon Goods, you need to check them out! Seriously y'all, they are awsome! They are a privately owned retailer and were founded back in 1999 and headquartered in Brooklyn. They specialize in sustainable gifts, are eco-friendly, case no harm to animals or people, and are safe on the environment. They feature everything from beautiful handcrafted jewelry, to home décor, tabletop items, personalized gifts, and more. And did I mention that 60% of the items they carry are made right here in the United States? A third of their items are made of recycled or upcycled materials and all of their pieces are unique and absolutely beautiful!
They are a B Corporation and use the power of business to solve social and environmental issues. The B Seal means that Uncommon Goods meets rigorous standards on a wide range of issues which include wage levels, environmental impact, and giving back to the community. They started the Better to Give program and have donated over $1 million to organizations such as RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network), American Forests, Women for Women International, and City Harvest. With every purchase you make, Uncommon Goods donates $1 to the non-profit of your choice. You get to shop and give back to your community at the same time and feel good about it. So shop, shop away my friends!

I will admit that I had a very hard time deciding on what I was going to feature in this post. Seriously y'all, it took me days to choose! Pretty much every single thing on their website would make a great gift for Mother's Day.

My friends at Uncommon Goods were nice enough to send me some amazing items to review and I will admit that I am in love with all the items. My favorite of the four items sent my way was the Mother and Daughter Letter Book. You can find it here. It would make a wonderful gift for a new mom, expecting mother, or even your mother. Check out the items that I reviewed below:

Mother and Daughter Letter Book Set

As soon as I set eyes on this, I knew that it would be a great gift for any mother and her daughter. I wanted to start writing letters to my daughter with different advice and our shared memories together with the intent that one day, if I was not around anymore, that she would have something dear to hold onto. The set comes with gorgeous letterhead and envelopes and a keepsake box to store little trinkets and other things. I cannot wait to start sending letters to my daughter.

Rackpack Convertible Wine Rack

I absolutely am in love with this wine rack. The moment I laid eyes on it I knew I had to have it. It has a lot of versatility. For example, it works as a case to hold one bottle of wine or as a rack to hold three. If you unhook the lock and open it up it holds many bottles of wine and the wood is so pretty. It would make a great gift for the wine lover in your life and it compliments any home décor style.
Aerating Wine Glasses

I love pretty glasses, especially when they are wine glasses! These glasses are stunning and would pair up nicely with the wine rack. They also inhances the flavor of the wine.

Slate Cheese Board with Soapstone Chalk

When I saw the slate cheese board, it was love at first sight. It comes in two colors: black and reddish. I choose the reddish color. It's pretty big, easy to clean, and it serves as a great serving platter for meals, snacks, or parties. This would make a great gift for the women in your life who enjoy hosting. I thought of my MIL and my husband's Aunt. They are always hosting social gatherings and I am sure they would love this as a gift.
